I'm so proud

August 20, 2009

Justin has been going to school for the past 2 years. Working hard to give our kids a better life in the future. Since he started he has maintained a 4.0 average, this is an amazing feat that he has worked very hard to accomplish.

This semester was no exception and was also the final semester in order to graduate with an Associates Degree. The final project is called the Capstone Project, you need to complete this in order to graduate. I can't even begin to describe all that was involved for this project other than he was part of a 10-person team, that needed to provide written documentation of a proposal/scope of services and give a presentation to a panel of 10 people who are part of the school.

He worked so hard (and so did this other person John), gave up many nights sleep the week before in order to pull all the documentation together, assisted in pulling the presentation together and was greatly rewarded for all his efforts.

Tonight was the night of the presentation, and he said that even though they made a few minor presenting mistakes, they got a 100! This will give him yet another 4.0 semester and he will graduate with high honors on the 17th of September.

Proud does not begin to describe how I feel about his accomplishments.

Justin gets a text message from his professor of the Capstone Project. The Director of ITT has requested a copy of their documentation to put in the display case. This has now become the school standard for this project. I am so proud of him, but glad I am not a student behind him!

Wow, I am so proud of him too. I know he works very hard at his job and then going to school and doing homework. I can't imagine doing all that, but he is setting a great example for his children. Congratulations!!
