Vaughn turns 5 tomorrow and I decided the week before he deserved to have a party. I made these cute invitations to invite the friends he had from daycare that he doesn't see anymore.
Only Zack came to the party from daycare, but that was completely fine with Vaughn. My friend Mike brought his two daughters and his friend Scott with his two children, Gabby and Justin. It was a great turnout for the Kiwanis Splash Park. 
Highlights from the party:
The slide, we could barely get Zack, Vaughn and Kyra off the slide. They just loved it!
Buckets...Big Hit. Mike brought these little buckets the kids loved filled with water and mostly splashed Mike. They splashed each other (which at times was NOT a big hit)and tried to get as many of us adults as they possibly could. 
The Cake...
The story I'm telling...Buzz landed on the cake ready to wish Vaughn a Happy Birthday, he just landed a little too hard.
The Playground...
I know Vaughn and his friends new and old, had a wonderful day.

That looks like a wonderful party for Vaughn. Everyone had a great time. The cake is funny. Did you make it? Great story though. Quick thinking! That splash park looks like fun. I want to go! But only if I don't have to wear a bathing suit in public!
