SCRAP-CATION!!

August 29 - September 2, 2008

Marcia flew in from NH late Friday night for Labor Day weekend. YAY! And lucky us a local scrapbook store was going to be open until midnight. Off we went to make our first purchases of the weekend :) Kyra was such a good girl too, she slept almost the entire time we shopped. She already knows what's important - SHOPPING!

We stayed up late, woke up early thanks to Kyra. We got ourselves ready after an early morning snooze and went shopping at Scrapbooking with Love. This store was not far from my house but was closing. The owner was moving back to Michigan and marked everything in the store 50% off. Let's just say, I shouldn't need paper anytime soon.

We then spent the evening actually scrapbooking! We scrapped several pages and reminisced about Freshman year and all the goofy, fun stuff we did way back when.

We also celebrated our birthdays! We had a cake and exchanged gifts. It was all scrap-related and lots of fun!

Sunday, August 31st Marcia and I visited our 3rd and final scrapbook store. This store is HUGE and has lots and lots of stuff. I was good and made minimal purchases. However, if I do for some reason
need cardstock, this store is the best place to go. Wish I could find this at my house!




The weekend totally flew by, but we made the most of every moment. I miss her already, but we are planning our next scrapcation for next year. No shopping, just scrapping! I want to go NOW!
