Happy New Year!

Today is Justin's birthday! While we both had to work, we sent the kids to my parents, because of course, daycare was closed.

After work we had dinner at Carrabbas with Justin's Dad, Alaina and Justin's Uncle David. We had a very nice, leisurely dinner and afterwards headed to a local bar called Tally Ho's.

We played pool and Justin's friend Jose joined us up there. This was awesome because we don't see Justin's dad outside of dinners due to everyone's schedule. I am a terrible pool player, but the first game we played was Alaina & I against Justin & Jose. I was pleasantly surprised that Alaina & I won the game.







Later in the evening, Justin convinced his Dad to play a game. We both thought that he had played pool before, however that was not the case. It didn't matter, he picked up the game very quickly with some instruction from his son.



We had a great time ringing in the New Year together, and Justin revealed that this was one of his best birthday's ever.
