Christmas Continued!

December 26, 2008

Today we celebrated Christmas twice. Once with Justin's Mom and sister and then at my friend Sherri's house. Can you say spoiled?? The kids totally made out like bandits.

We went to Granny's house first. When you first walk in the door the first thing you saw was the truck that Justin had put together. Vaughn was very excited, but we had to put the battery in first, and she wanted us to open all our gifts first.

After gifts at Granny's house, we took the truck outside. Vaughn stepped on the pedal once and wanted to get out. He said he wasn't clicked (which means he didn't have his seat belt on) and he didn't want to sit in it anymore. Not once did he ask to ride it again while we were there.

After we said our goodbyes, the kids and I took off to Auntie Sherri's house to celebrate Christmas with her. Our time is precious so I really look forward to our movie nights with our special coffee drinks made with love by ME!

Sherri spoiled the kids, I mean, absolutely SPOILED them. She gave Vaughn a car's suitcase type bag. He was so thrilled. Couldn't wait to put everything in the pockets and zip and unzip the pockets.

She also gave him a My First Computer by Leap Frog. He wanted to play it right away but we were using the TV so he was going to have to wait until the next day.

Kyra had a little fashion show with all the clothes Sherri gave him. We dressed her in each outfit and took a picture. When it was all said and done, we kept her in the last outfit and she was exhausted. We wore her out!

We had such a lovely day and night. I feel very lucky to have the friends and family that I have.

It's so cute how kids love to put something in every little pocket and zip them up. You should have posted more pictures of Kyra's first fashion show. hehe.

Oh, has Vaughn begun to like his truck more? Our boys have them and they were the best investment. They drive them all the time in the summer.
