Rain Rain Go AWAY

June 28 - July 4, 2010

It has rained every day. I had been looking forward to July 4th weekend, as it was a four day weekend for me. I was looking forward to some sunshine, maybe the beach, pool at my parents on the 4th.

Yeah, no such luck. It rained every day.

July 3rd I went over to Heather's for a "sleep-over". We gamed until late, Vaughn didn't sleep well until I slept in the bed with him which was definitely not as restful as where I was originally sleeping. He woke up early as the light came right into the room, which means Mommy didn't get to sleep either. UGH!

We drove up to my parents house in the rain, it rained all day. The only great thing is that Heather & I got to play cards with our parents. We played Hand and Foot and that was really fun.

Poor Vaughn was rushing to the bathroom before we went home and he shoved his toe under the door. The poor guy, and I know it really hurt him because even after hours of travel, and getting ready to go back to our house walking on it hurt. He cried like he had just hurt it, I felt so bad for him but I also thought it was because he had such a long day.

So that is all for the weather and holiday report. Good holiday, unacceptable weather.
