March Madness

It's been awhile and it seems I have lots to report and nothing to report. I have been without my home computer for more than a week. I finally relented and had it looked at by a professional. Glad I did, because the hard drive was going bad which was causing it to be extra slow and on the fritz in general. So I used to have an 80 GB hard drive and I'm now upgrading to a 250 GB hard drive. SWEET! Thankful for work Internet is all I have to say.

Had to take the glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes. Yeah, I flunked it and I am not happy about it!! What that means for me now is that I have to go to a lab and take a 3 hour test and get my blood drawn 4 times in that period. I also have to follow a special diet 3 days before the test. I'm not good at diets, for those who know me I don't like anything to begin with and they want you to eat a LOT of food :( I need to get some clarification on it, but either way, I'm not happy.

Vaughn got himself a cold. Not sure what it is related to - could be a few things. The fact that it was pretty chilly this weekend and he was playing outside and didn't want to sleep for crap the entire weekend, or he is teething causing the nose to run, too many possibilities for me to try to narrow it down. He had a fever yesterday so I had to stay home with him. It certainly isn't much of a sacrifice, but I hate losing a sick day when I need to preserve them for the end of May.

FINALLY got my living room floor installed. It looks uber nice. I have to upload the pics but I have to wait until I get my computer back. I also have to re-install everything when I get it back so that is going to take me a few days at least.

Scrapbooking...haven't had the time or the computer...I hate being so reliant on technology.

All I have right now, it is time to go and pick up the rugrat and pray he is in a civil mood to go shopping for necessities. The cats are planning a revolt if I don't get them food tonight!
