Today we took the kids to Hunsader Farms. My friend had told me about this place last year and how they have a pumpkin festival every year. I thought Vaughn would have a really good time as they were supposed to have a lot of little things for kids to do.
So we packed up the car and drove down to Bradenton. This took longer than I had expected because when I looked up the directions on how to get there, I didn't print them out, I just wrote them down. So either mapquest was wrong or I wrote it wrong, in either case it took an hour longer than it should have. The plus side was that Vaughn got a great nap.
So we finally get there and the have a man-made train being pulled by a tractor. I thought Vaughn would have fun so we put him in it first thing. He sure didn't look like he was having a good tim though! I think he didn't enjoy it because he really had to go potty the whole time. So as soon as the ride was over, he and Daddy made a dash to the potty area.

I was a little disappointed because their weren't as many things to do for free as they had advertized. I'm sure it has everything to do with the economy but we still managed to go through the cornstalk maze where Vaughn had a blast, and then we went to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween. Vaughn really wanted 2 pumpkins and kept bringing them to me.

After the maze it was time to go as the festival was closing for the day. Vaughn wanted more juice but there wasn't much left and the three of us were sharing it. He starts to cry and I casually said "It isn't a good time until somebody is crying" a guy I walked past who was standing by a stroller heard me and said "Well we must be having a blast!" Justin & I both cracked up about that!
Here are the parting pictures of us as we were leaving the festival.

These are such fantastic pictures! I think one of the things I like about them is they are outside. Most of the photos you take are inside it seems. Makes sense though since you are in hot Florida. I cracked up about the having fun line too. That's a riot!
