We finally made it to my parent's house. Today was gorgeous out, perfect pool weather. It was Kyra first time in the pool and she was fearless.
This worries me a little - does this mean she will run towards a pool when she sees one thinking she can swim? I think I'm going to have to investigate the cost of swim classes for both of them! Vaughn had lessons when he was 9 months old, but we had to stop due to money and it was like I never took him. He is so afraid now and I don't want him to be. I love swimming and I really want him to enjoy it too.
For now, Vaughn enjoys "swimming" by lounging on the pool chair.

I'm so envious. It's raining here today...AGAIN! Don't worry too much about the kids being afraid of the water. They'll get over it. I would wait a little on the lessons too. It's something they really have to do consistently for a decent amount of time before it really clicks for them.
