The first baby becomes an adult...

Yesterday the first baby, my nephew turned 18. It seems like yesterday when Heather brought him to visit from Florida. He was just so sweet, cute and loving. Not much has changed, except that he's not in diapers anymore and he can now vote.

Heather and her family surprised me and flocked to my house to celebrate his birthday. I had planned to go to them so I was unprepared! I knew what I was getting him but when I went to the store, I had totally blanked and forgot to pick up his gift. So once they got there, Heather and I took off so I could go get it and his card.

So we get back and start the cake and gift celebration.


Once again, Heather & I managed to get the same card. This is what happens when we shop at the same store.

If Eric knew that I posted these pictures, I'm sure I would be shot. He's become quite the anti-photo person as he's gotten older. I just hope and pray my kids don't act like that, as these photos are so important!!

I love you Eric and I'm proud of you for becoming such a wonderful young man.
