Today we were visiting with my parents and Vaughn was scratching at some bug bites on his foot. My mom, in her infinite wisdom, thought to place a penny next to the bug bites in order to stop the itching. We were only to keep it on for about 20 minutes or so, but because he was wearing his socks and shoes we completely forgot about it. He did too, and forgot about the itching. Who says old home remedies don't work?

That's cool! Here's another one my dad taught me... Mayonnaise gets rid of pine pitch.
I'm gonna have to remember the penny trick when Lauren gets older.
A penny huh? Who knew. Mayonnaise? I need to use that on my car window!
