Today is Labor Day (and my parents wedding anniversary of 41 years). Late in the day we decided to gather with friends to go to the beach. I love this beach and who knew it would be so fun that late in the day.
It was awesome because Vaughn conquered a fear of the ocean. He actually got in and enjoyed the waves and not just from the shore. Kyra is still a little water bug and she enjoyed the waves with me.
I was very happy that we spent this day together as a family and with friends. It is not often that the four of us get time off all together these days with Justin's work schedule, so I cherish these rare days.

Very nice journaling. On your scrapbook page you might want to go into more detail about Justin's schedule. I like the photo of V in the waves! Very action-oriented.
