Ready, Set...VACATION!

My first "real" full week vacation in I can't tell you how long. I was so excited to take the kids back to my roots. I wanted them to experience some of the activities, and places I knew when I was growing up.

Time for a road trip. My sister and brother-in-law almost always drive to NH to pick up the kids at the end of the summer. My brother-in-law's parents still live up there and the kids spend their summers with them.

I was very concerned about the road trip. I was not a fan of taking two small children on a 24-hour car ride, and had been anxious about it all week. Well much to my pleasant surprise they were great tonight.

We met up at my parents and I left my truck. It would be easier to go home from their place instead of an additional 3 hours for me home or for my sister.

Here we are ready for take-off. The kids are very excited to be on their way.
