Road Trip Part Duex

Kids woke up so happy today, honestly I am so pleasantly surprised and PROUD of them.




Following the GPS is sometimes not a good idea, we were in Pennsylvania and if we kept listening to it, we would have drove in circles forever! I think it got confused!

We did manage to find a WalMart because even though we found several Dunkin Donuts in gas stations, no one had donuts. How the hell does that happen?? I wanted some Dunkin Donuts for breakfast but I was denied. How sad.

Later in the afternoon, I just had to snap this picture, Aunt Heather and Kyra just looked too cute!



We made it into New Jersey by 5:30 p.m. and I was never so stunned when we pulled into the gas station and they still have FULL SERVICE gas stations. I thought a beggar was approaching the van as we pulled up, but he was just the attendant. I really looked like a tourist at that moment!

I was staying at Marcia's house for this trip and we arrived at her house sometime around 8:30 p.m. The kids were so excited to finally be at our destination and Vaughn immediately took to looking and touching all the toys in the breezeway. Chris & I set up their beds as Marcia's boys had a sleepover in Nicholas' room. I was excited for them to meet the next morning and I know Vaughn was too!

Unfortunately, Marcia could not be reached on her cell phone so I didn't see her until almost 11:00 p.m. but that gave me time to take a MUCH needed shower after being in a vehicle for over 24 hrs straight!

I am so HAPPY!!
