Finally, the concert I've been waiting for since February! I bought tickets for Nickelback as an anniversary gift for Justin & I. When we first started dating we saw them for free at Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg. So this band is special to us, not to mention their music is kick ass!
My sister is the luckiest person on the planet I swear! She WON tickets to the show the week of the concert and got a backstage pass to meet them. It was a really quick meet and greet, but I don't care! I would have loved to have my picture taken with them. So she was on my "LIST" all week. But I'm not bitter...much.
I didn't think we would be allowed to bring our good SLR camera so I brought my little point and shoot. I knew I should have taken some of the pictures myself, but figured Justin would have a better advantage being much taller than I. Some of the pics are blurry and I wish he had moved up more than once to take a few snaps, but oh well. I'm very happy to have some pics of this really great night.
Some of the memorable highlights is "If Everyone Cared". This song was inspired by Bono as told by Chad Kroeger, and what one individual can do to make change and a difference in the world. As they sang, they played a video about organizations and how they started, such as Amnesty International and Doctor's without Borders. 
They also played a video during the song Photograph. We didn't get any pictures of those, but it was good because they were personal photos of the band.

I'm sure it was great to have a date night with Justin, especially since the band has special meaning to you two. Next time have Justin put you on his shoulders and you can take photos. haha.
OMG dude I'm so excited I'm seeing them in September! I'm j though that you got to see them with Seether. Seether isn't coming with them over here so we get Hinder and Papa Roach instead....but still get to see Saving Abel. I'm sooooo excited to see Nickelback!
