Play Date

Today daycare was closed for Good Friday. My friend Freddy and I work together and our boys go to the same daycare. I had already planned to take the day off to watch my kids so I offered to watch Zack too.

When Zack arrived at our house, Vaughn was still asleep. After much coaching, I convinced Zack to go upstairs and wake up Vaughn. Vaughn couldn't believe it! He was so excited to have Zack in his room, he jumped out of bed and immediately wanted to know where his outfit was to get dressed! I was also excited to have Zack over because I knew the two boys would entertain each other outside and hopefully wear each other out!

First on the agenda was Play-Dough. Vaughn loves his play-dough but I don't let him play with it very often because he makes such a mess with it. My solution was to set-up the card table in the garage and let them make as much of a mess as they wanted.





After a few hours outside, it was time to come inside, cool off and play with the cars.




After a small cool down, it was back outside for the rest of the day to play with his truck, bike, and play-dough.
