Our dear friend Kristy's daughter celebrated her 13th birthday today. The theme was red and Elmo. Kristy was mortified that her daughter wanted Elmo, but the girl knows what she wants!
Our present was the red and white feather boas, I thought they would be fun for a girly girl like Alison, not to mention they went with the theme. She didn't know they were hers until a litte later in the evening - when they went with her outfit!
Here is the birthday girl in her first outfit for the party (there will be three outfit changes today)
Kristy had bought silly string for her own use, but somehow lost it and was on the losing end of the string!
Kyra loves being tossed in the air - lucky for me she's still very light so I can still toss her up!

The kids LOVED the trampoline. I wish I had an infinite amount of money to enroll them in swimming and gymnastics. Someday, I hope.
And then there was cake...mmmm
Suavamente, my favorite meringue song...Justin caught me dancing just before calling it a night.
Everyone had a great time and the kids were exhausted by the time we got home. An evening well spent!

I'm so glad you got to go out and do something together as a family. It's nice to see a picture or two of YOU in the blog posts too! I love the Elmo cake. Who doesn't love Elmo?
