You've got to be kidding me

Justin still does not have any word on his car and his friend has been graciously been giving him rides to work and school. Good thing they have the same work/school schedule!

Since Justin has class and no car, I picked up the kids as usual. To my horror, I get news from daycare that Vaughn has lice. Now I have been wanting to cut Vaughn's hair for quite some time now but Justin has objected. This was the perfect excuse but the biggest headache.

Vaughn was such a trooper and took it all in stride. And as luck would have it, Kyra was exhausted from daycare, so I was able to put her down in her bed while I took care of a bulk of his hair.

Vaughn was so good and patient sitting there while I combed through his hair. He discovered he likes showers as he had to have two this night. Both of the kids were up past midnight and I was up until 2 a.m. washing clothes and making sure all of the stuffed animals were placed in black bags. Heather had come over after her girl scout meeting to help with head check. Luckily, Kyra didn't have any - which is good. I can't imagine her having to go through that tedious process. She just wouldn't have sat through it. I would have shaved her head first!
