BFF Weekend!!

January 15 - 18, 2010

I have the most fantastic BFF ever (and I'm not just saying that cuz she reads this). We planned very last minute for me to fly up to NH for a scrapbooking visit. I knew Marcia was having an all day crop on the 16th and I really wanted to be there to scrapbook with her, since we have many years to put into our albums!

I arrived Friday afternoon and we promptly headed over to one of my old favorite places to eat D'Angelo's for lunch. We also met up with our third musketeer who took this fab photo of us.



After a nice leisurely lunch we drove home to pick up the boys and start dinner, and loading up the van of all of Marcia's scrap goodies. I was relieved when I was assured a place to sit after we packed in all that stuff!

January 16, 2010

Today we headed over to Weare (pronounced "Where") to the Town Hall for all day scrapbooking. I got to meet some of Marcia's scrapbooking buddies I had never met before, and a few ladies I knew before I moved away. I swear I have scrapbooking A.D.D. but Marcia was a trooper and didn't scold me TOO much. I even got a few pages done and "caught" up to Marcia. We do our pages at the same time and try not to get ahead of one another so we can discuss what's going on in the photos and the memories they bring up.

Picture Day today!! We did our usual primping and photographing ourselves today. We went over to the parent's house and got some pictures in Marcia's old room before the wallpaper came down the next day.

I love this sweater on me due to the color but it seems a bit streched out and makes me look pregnant - annoying. Anyhoo....

When we were getting ready to leave I was very excited because it was snowing. I had really hoped to see it snowing while I was up there. I haven't seen snow since I left in 1998. It is so nice to be able to visit and know that I don't have to shovel it, scrape it, or get whitewashed by it. I took some video of us in the snow, but Blogger doesn't give me HQ for my Flip Video.

January 18, 2010

Today is my last full day in NH with Marcia. It had snowed pretty good last night but school/daycare was still open so we had a nice day without the kids. We watched some of our old home movies which was hysterical. I'm glad we had such a great sense of humor back then - I swear I almost peed a few times laughing so hard.

We scrapped one more page before going outside to "play".




Tonight after dinner, we played Apples to Apples with Nathan. We had a good time and Nathan seems to have Mommy's potty humor. See Marcia's post here.

I had such a great time and I can't wait until we have another trip together!
