Philippe Park

April 10, 2010

Armed with directions this time, we made it to Philippe Park in Safety Harbor. It wasn't too hot today so the kids could really burn off some energy.

Kyra tried and succeeded in climbing up the big kid faux rock formation. I was a little nervous but Vaughn (and his new friend Katelyn) were there to help her up if she needed it. It was so cute how eager Vaughn was to help her and show her how to climb up there.

After all the climbing and running around it was time for a juice break.

Today they were both very intrigued by the nature around them. We first saw a ladybug on the slide in the little kid area.

Then a bit later, Vaughn was excited to see a "cadapillar" and he got Kyra interested as well.

It was quite an exciting day at the park, and as usual, they were not ready to go home!

I love taking the kids to the park. They can amuse themselves for such a long time and burn off some energy. I love how you captured what Vaughn calls a catapillar. Such a great detail. These are the special moments the kids will remember - you spending time with them!
