Bug Bite

I woke up this morning and found that Kyra had a couple of mosquito bites on her face. I knew they would be itchy, but then when I got her to daycare she was looking so much worse! Her little hand, which I hadn't noticed before had been a great dinner for some mosquito. I only noticed it because she told me it hurt. I thought it was a mosquito bite but it looked too swollen to be sure. I called the doctor on call to see what dose I could give Kyra for Benedryl so she would be comfortable. Nurse called me back but told me I should take her in to be safe it wasn't something else that bit her. I made an appointment for her to see the Dr. after school the next day to make sure she was okay and didn't need any special treatment.







Dr. said she was fine but it is always better to be safe than sorry!
